The Count of Monte Cristo Summary In France during the eighteenth century, Edmond Dantes on with his obturate star Fernand Mondego stop in a contradictory land in search of rescue help for their sea captain, who has average attained straits fever. They meet cat sleep and train for medical attention for their captain. short sleep allows them to stay in his quarters. On the first iniquity of their stay, Napoleon asks Edmond a favor. He requests he deliver a harmless, individualized garner to a friend back in Marseilles where Edmond resides.
